Anton F. Urbanek

Anton F. "Tony" Urbanek, 84, of Manchester, NH died September 20, 2003, at Northwood Harborside Health Care in Bedford, NH after a lengthy illness.

Born in Guttenberg, NJ, October 26, 1918, he was the son of Thomas and Johanna (Liska) Urbanek. He lived in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ for 40 years.He moved Bedford, NH in 1988 where he resided until moving to Manchester 3 years ago.

He was an army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Urbanek retired in 1977 from Western Electric Co. in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. where he worked as an engineer for many years.

He was married to Elinor J. (Poeschel) Urbanek, who died in 1997.

Family members include a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Barbara) Occhipinti of Bedford, NH; a son, Thomas Urbanek of Princeton Junction, N.J.; 6 grandchildren, Lisa Occhipinti, Ellen Bene, Nathan Occhipinti, David Urbanek, Mark Urbanek, and Susan Urbanek.

A service was conducted in the funeral home Monday September 22, 2003.

After cremation urn burial was in George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Saddle River, N.J.
