Antonia M. Hersey

Antonia M. Hersey, 80, of Goffstown, died August 19, 2006 at her residence, after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Salzburg, Austria, May 11, 1926, and was the daughter of edward and Antonia Sauer. She had been a resident of this area most of her life.

Mrs. Hersey worked in the shoe industry in Manchester for many years.

She enjoyed Bingo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert M. Hersey, and by two sons, Fredrick Hersey, and Richard Hersey.

Family members include six children, Fredrick Hersey of Goffstown, Margery Lamy of Manchester, Linda Roberge of Goffstown, Robert Hersey of Henniker, Kathleen Scanlan of Goffstown, and Thomas Hersey of Keene; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Bedford Center Cemetery where a graveside service was conducted Tuesday August 22, 2006.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, was in charge of arrangements.
