Archie A. Boisvert

Archie A. Boisvert, 81, of Crown Point, Indiana, died March 26, 2004, at his home, after a long struggle with cancer.

Born in Manchester on November 9, 1923 he was the son of Almon and Alice (Montplaisir) Boisvert.

Archie was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in WWII, and was a union structural ironworker with Local #395.He was an active participant of ice hockey and tennis.

Family members include his wife of sixty years, Evelyn (Smith) Boisvert of Crown Point IN; a daughter Andrea Sparks, of Bloomington, IN; 2 sons, Jim Boisvert, of WI, and Jerry Boisvert, of TX; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Jane Hebert, a brother Paul Boisvert both of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated Wednesday April 7, 2004 in St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony Hospice, 203 Franciscan Drive, Crown Point IN, 46307.Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street assisted the family with the local arrangements.
