Arlene C. Blake

Auburn, NH

   Arlene C. (Sell) Blake 87, of Auburn, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on November 3, 2022.

   She was born in Manchester on April 29, 1935 to Henry and Doris (Rennie) Sell. Arlene and husband William Blake went on to raise their two boys Richard and Robert in Auburn were they have resided happily together for the past 68 years.

   Arlene retired from Numerica Bank where she worked as a branch manager.

   Together Arlene and William enjoyed many years of retirement traveling the country.

Over the past several years Arlene found much fulfillment and joy while volunteering at New Horizons Soup Kitchen in Manchester.

   Arlene is survived by her husband of 68 years, William E. Blake of Auburn; son, Richard W. Blake (predeceased) and his wife, Susan M. Blake, of Auburn; son, Robert W. Blake of Weare; grandchildren, Richard W. Blake and wife, Kelly, of Bow and Tiffany Ranfos and husband, Eric, of Allenstown; great grandchildren, William and Alyssa Blake, Morgan and Hailey Ranfos; Arlene’s brother, Richard Sell and wife, Elizabeth Sell (predeceased) of Auburn, along with many wonderful nieces.

   SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday (11/7) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A funeral ceremony is Tuesday (11/8) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Committal prayers will follow at Auburn Village Cemetery in Auburn.

   Memorial donations may be made to New Horizons for NH, 199 Manchester St., Manchester, NH 03101.
