Born in Berlin on June 1, 1912, he was the son of Dr. Alexander and Antoinette (LeBlond) Berube. He lived in Berlin many years before moving to Manchester in 1951.
During World War II he served in the US Army.
Mr. Berube worked at Gosselin Appliance in Berlin for seven years and later was a salesman for Sears Roebuck Company in Manchester for many years.
He was a member of the Pinardville Lyons Club and the Knights of Columbus, Council 5260.
The family includes five sons, Claude G. Berube of Goffstown, Andre H. Berube of Hooksett, Roland E. Berube of Concord, Daniel A. Berube of Waltham, MA and Donald R. Berube of Melrose, MA; five grandsons; four sisters, Doris Carrier of Manchester, Priscille Desilette of Berlin, Marcelle Benz of Ocala, Fl and Jacqueline Bergeron of Lebanon; a brother, Rudolph Berube of Claremont; many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery, So. Beech St., Manchester.
