He was born in Manchester, December 15, 1927, and was the son of Wilfred and Odele (McNeil) St. Hilaire. Armand had been a member of Sacred Heart Parish for most of his life.Armand was an active member of the Sacred Heart League, and the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood.
IN HIS LIFE:Armand was a graduate of the Hevey School, and in 1945, he served in the United States Navy in the Pacific. Following his tour, he met and married the girl of his life, and they were married in 1952. Armand followed his love of cars and became a mechanic for Cote's Sunbeam Bakery in Manchester for 33 years. During his retirement he enjoy travelling with his wife and spending time with his 7 grandchildren, teaching his favorite subject, geography.
Family members include his wife; Yvonne (Laliberte) St. Hilaire, of Manchester; a daughter, Denise Beliveau, of Manchester; 3 sons, Richard St. Hilaire, of Hooksett, Ronald St. Hilaire, of Manchester, Marc St. Hilaire, of Chester; 6 grandchildren, Beth, Matthew, Eric, Sara, Anna, Tyler, a brother, Richard St. Hilaire, of Goffstown; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Ashley.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday May 1, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, Main St. Manchester.
Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
