Armand was influential in the planning and construction of Station 17 of the Goffstown Fire Department. As an early volunteer of the fire department Armand spent many years working at station 18. Later Armand transferred over to the department of Public Works and retired as the acting director, after 26 years of service to the town of Goffstown
He enjoyed his grandchildren, working in his vegetable and flower gardens; decorating for the holidays, and simply enjoying his home. Armand will be remembered as a giving, kind person, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. We will miss Pepere very much.
Family members include his wife of 25 years, Jacqueline B. (Thibodeau) LaBrie, of Goffstown; 3 daughters, Cheryl Sanborn, Linda Underwood, both of Goffstown,Christina Boyle, of FL; a son David LaBrie, of Manchester; 3 step-daughters, JoAnn Keenan, of Goffstown, Joyce Cook, Janice LaBerge, both of Manchester; a step-son, Michael Pratte, of Manchester; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Doris Dube, of Bedford, Antoinette Ingram, of Manchester; 3 brothers, Francois LaBrie, of Litchfield, Donald LaBrie, Maurice LaBrie, both of Manchester. several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, May 21, 2007, at St. Marie Church Notre Dame Ave. Manchester.
Burial took place at a later date.
Flowers are to be omitted.
