Armand O. Binette, 88, of Manchester died on September 9, 2017 at CMC, after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on December 26, 1928, he was the son of Elzear and Yvonne (Larivee) Binette. Armand was a graduate of Manchester High School West and worked for Raytheon for 15 years. He was a parishioner of St. Marie Church for many years. Armand was a hardworking, dedicated man with a great sense of humor. He loved to joke around. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Family includes his wife of 68 years, Lorraine R. (Lord) Binette of Manchester; four daughters, Elaine Sokol and husband Bill of Chester, NJ, Joanne Nelson and husband Jack of Manchester, Patricia Joyce of Manchester, and Joyce Gearty and husband Mike of Manchester; one son, Daniel Binette of Boston, MA; five grandchildren, Deirdre Latour of New York City, Scott Neesen of New Boston, Brian Neesen of Manchester, and Melissa Jones of Delafield, WI, and Shaun Gearty of Manchester; and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Emile Binette.
