Armand A. Pinard, 80, of Bedford, NH died August 14, 2005 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born in Manchester, NH on July 31, 1925, the son of Alfred A. and Albertine (St. Pierre) Pinard. He was educated in the local school system.
Armand was a veteran of the US Armed Forces, having served in the Army during WWII.
Following his retirement from the VA Medical Center after 25 years, he worked for the Manchester Transit Authority for 23 years.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish and a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Monastery of the Precious Blood.
He was a devoted family man. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan who was also a motorcycling enthusiast.
Members of his family include his wife of 51 years, Jacqueline Pinard of Bedford; one son, Marc Pinard of Manchester; two daughters, Dona Zajac of Manchester and Lisa Pinard of Manchester; a grandson and his wife, Aaron and Jennifer Pinard of Auburn; two great-grandchildren, Brodey A. Pinard and Chandler C. Pinard, both of Auburn; a brother, Roger Pinard of Manchester; two sisters, Anita Woods of Florida and Theresa Bussiere of Manchester; nephews and nieces; He was predeceased by a brother, Bertrand Pinard.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday August 18, 2005. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
