Armand J. Tremblay, 90, of Manchester, died May 15, 2004, at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, August 10, 1913, he was a son of Joseph E. and Leda M. (Bergeron) Tremblay. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Tremblay was a master plumber and had been employed by Peabody Brothers for many years. In the years before his retirement he had worked at the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant.
He was a member of the Teamster's Union Local 131. In addition he was a communicant of St. Therese Church, and a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood.
Family members include his wife of 65 years, Dorothy E. (Rivet) Tremblay, of Manchester; four daughters, Dorothy Proulx of Auburn, Elaine Morgan of Gray, Tn, Gloria Billups of Weare, and Celeste Meade of Bedford; two sons, Denis Tremblay of Manchester, and Armand J. Tremblay Jr. of Amherst; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha A. Carignan of Florida, Florida Favreau and Claire Tremblay, both of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday May 19, 2004 at St. Therese Church. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
