Armand L. Yergeau, 83, of Manchester died May 7, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on July 12, 1937, he was the son of Elphege and Anabelise (Beauchesne) Yergeau.
Prior to retirement, Armand had served as a firefighter for the City of Manchester for over 24 years. He most recently had been a self-employed painter for several years.
He enjoyed playing cards as well as fishing and boating.
He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Beliveau) Yergeau in 2018.
Family members include his son, Daniel Yergeau of Manchester; two daughters, Michelle Brown and husband Frank of Manchester, Anne Marie Elwell and husband Scott of Kentucky; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Maurice Yergeau of Michigan; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by siblings Adrian, Marcel, Real, Carmel Boily and Pauline Daneault.
Visiting hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Parish of the Transfiguration on Wednesday at 10 am.
