Arthur B. Champagne, 77, of Pembroke, died April 5, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center after a long struggle with emphysema.
He was born in Manchester on December 25, 1940 to Ronaldo and Yvonne (Marcotte) Champagne. He lived in Manchester and Hooksett for many years before moving to his Gentleman's Farm dream home in Pembroke 15 years ago.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Arthur worked at H & O Dental Laboratory, the local affiliate of National Dentex, for 54 years and retired as a Vice President of National Dentex in 2010. In retirement, he found great enjoyment in working in his woodshop as well as playing on his tractors and excavator on his land.
He was predeceased by his parents and three siblings, Emery Champagne, Lucien Champagne and Lorraine Armstrong.
The family includes his wife of 55 years, Violette "Vicki" (Lallier) Champagne of Pembroke; three children, Mark Champagne and his wife, Melanie, of Bedford, Lynn Jenkins and her partner, Catherine, of Hooksett and Kim Lehoux and her husband, Ricky, of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Jenkins, Joshua and Jeffrey Lehoux and Johnny, Nicholas and Mason Champagne; a great granddaughter, Aubrey Jenkins; two siblings, Donald Champagne and Claire Duclos both of Manchester; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester.
