Arthur W. Cote

Arthur William Cote, 80, of Hooksett, NH died August 7, 2006 in Concord, NH after a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester on June 26, 1926 the son of Henry and Eva (Ouellette) Cote. He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester High School Central. During WWII, he served in the US Army.

Prior to retirement in 1985, he was Territory Manager for BF Goodrich Company for many years. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Florida until his return to the Hooksett area in 1999.

Several years ago, he had been chairman of the Hooksett Chapter of Boy Scouts.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Edith Mitchell Clark Cote in 1988 and his second wife, Rose E. (Cantin) Cahill Cote in 2004.

He was also predeceased by his brother Norman Cote.

Members of his family include two sons, Kevin and Claire Cote of Concord, NH and Bruce and Tammy Cote of Marshall, MO; two grandsons, Jeffrey R. Cote of Hooksett and Michael A. Cote of Manchester; one great-grandson, Logan Cote.

Committal prayers were held on Thursday August 10, 2006 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum at 11am.
