Arthur A. Ferretti

Arthur A. Ferretti, 96, of Manchester died February 5, 2003 at Birchwood Nursing Home, Derry after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on December 12, 1906, he was the son of Joseph and Rosa (Bruno) Ferretti. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

He was a graduate of Central High School and Harvard University.

Mr. Ferretti was well known as an owner and operator of many businesses in Manchester. He had owned and operated Ferretti's Supermarkets, Frosted Foods, Ferretti's Bakery and Radio Cab Company. He also owned and operated Hanover House Restaurant, Ferretti's Steak and Lobster, Lord's Department Store, Kehas Furniture and Birchwood Nursing Home in Derry.

He was married to Patricia (Blakey) Ferretti who died in 1993.

The family includes a daughter, JoAnn F. Hollingsworth of Manchester; a son, Arthur J. Ferretti of Manchester; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday February 7, 2003 in St. Francis Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
