Born on April 24, 1937, in Quincy, MA, he was the son of Simeon and Josephine (Rouleau) Gosselin. He worked at L. Antonelli Iron Works in Quincy for many years prior to moving to the Manchester area with his wife in 1971.
Arthur was the owner and proprietor of A. Gosselin Steel Company in Auburn, for many years prior to his retirement in 1999.
He enjoyed golfing and loved to work hard at his steel business. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished time with his family.
Family members include his wife of 56 years, Yvonne (Willmer) Gosselin of Goffstown; his children, Mark and Elizebeth(Frisella) Gosselin of Auburn, Michael Gosselin of Alabama, Lori Jache of Hooksett, Richard Gosselin of Pembroke, Christopher Gosselin of Manchester, Brian and Susan(Lord) Gosselin of Manchester, Bonnie Gosselin and Michael Newman of Auburn; 2 grandchildren, Patrick Gosselin and Nicole Jache; a brother, Paul Gosselin of Weymouth, MA; many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Josephine Annette and three brothers, Charles, Richard and Raymond.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 21, 2012 in St. Peter Church, Auburn. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army, 121 Cedar St, Manchester, NH 03101.
