Arthur F. Lapointe

Arthur F. Lapointe of Bedford died March 12, 2012 at the age of 76 after a period of brief illness. Born in Manchester in 1935, he was the son of Arthur and Gilbert Lapointe. He was raised in Pinardville, attended Bishop Bradley High School in Manchester and earned his degree from New Hampshire College of Accounting and Commerce. He served in the US Army National Guard.

Prior to retirement, he was the owner of Lapointe Insurance Agency in Manchester for more than 40 years. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline (Mailhot) Lapointe in 2002.

Arthur will be remembered by his children, Michael Lapointe (Cheryl) of Amherst, Scott Lapointe (Amy) of Bedford, Diane Lapointe of Nashua and Carol (Lapointe) Keohane (Scott) of Littleton, MA. Arthur will also be remembered by his six grandchildren and two sisters, Gertrude Burke of Manchester and Vivian Kotowski of Hooksett along with several nephews and nieces.

A committal service took place on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in the mausoleum of Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A memorial mass was held in memory of Arthur and Pauline Lapointe on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford NH.
