Arthur J. Proulx

Arthur J. Proulx, Jr., 80, of Manchester, died Friday April 15, 2022 in Boston, MA after an illness.

Son of Eula (George) & Arthur J. Proulx, Sr., Arthur was born April 6, 1942 in Manchester. He attended Central High School. He worked 43 years for NyCoA. In 1974 he met the love of his life Doris (Riel) and they enjoyed 47 years of marriage together.

Arthur was a lifelong fisherman and hunter. He was an avid motorcycle rider in his younger years. He loved sports and animals. Above all, he will be remembered for being a people person and loved by everyone who knew him.

Arthur is survived by his wife Doris Proulx of Manchester; daughter Tammy Vignola & her husband Gregory of Center Barnstead; sons Daniel Morey & his wife Diane of Florida, Jeffrey Morey & his wife Joann of Manchester, Kevin Morey of FL, Sean Morey & his wife Tamara of Manchester; three children from a previous marriage are Arthur Proulx III, Andrew Proulx, and Theresa Proulx; sisters Rosemary Durant & her husband Henry, Diane Desjardins & her husband Kenneth; brother John Proulx & his wife Claudette; and many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be Saturday April 23 from 10 am to 12 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St, Manchester, NH. A service will follow at 12 pm also in the funeral home.
