Barbara Dubray

January 20, 1942 — October 4, 2023

Barbara (Degulis) Dubray, 81, of Nashua, passed away on Wednesday October 4, 2023.  Born in Nashua on January 20, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Anthony F. and Helen A. (Bernikowicz) Degulis.  She was predeceased by her husband Richard G. Dubray in 2001, to which she was married for 40 years. 

Barbara was educated in Nashua and was a graduate of Nashua High School.  She was employed by the Nashua School District, as a secretary for 25 years, retiring in 2001, completing her professional career. 

Barbara held fast her faith, family, and traditions.  She was well-travelled through the world, greeting new friends and experiences along the way, but she was always glad to come home.

Members of Barbara’s family include two sons and their wives, Kevin and Joanne of Beverly, MA and Kenneth R. and Lisa of Derry, NH;  her four grandchildren, Jackson and John Dubray of Beverly, MA and Kamryn and Jaclyn Dubray of Derry, NH.  She is also survived by her brothers and their wives:  Dennis and Sharon Degulis, Paul and Kathleen Degulis, and Michael Degulis.  She leaves several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well.

SERVICES:  Per Barbara’s request, there are no calling hours.  Friends and relatives are invited to a period of visitation prior to a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in St. Aloysius of Gonzaga Catholic Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 10am.  Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Hill Road, Nashua.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 970025, Boston, MA 02297-0025; or Sisters of Holy Cross, 377 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03109-4811

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104, has been entrusted to the care and the arrangements.
