Barbara L. (McSherry) Kelley, 72, of Manchester died December 26, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born in Dorchester, MA on June 28, 1946, she was the daughter of James and Mary (Lee) McSherry. She was raised in Mission Hill, Roxbury. She was a graduate of Mission Church High School in Roxbury, MA. She had been a resident of the Manchester area for the past 20 years.
Prior to retirement in 2010, she had been employed as an administrative assistant with Semi Conductive Circuits for many years
Barbara enjoyed bowling, supporting Boston sports teams, and traveling with her family on trips to Foxwoods and Atlantic City. She was strongly devoted to her faith and a fun loving, caring person who was very protective of her family. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her grandson, Jack.
Family members include her husband of 49 years, Richard W. Kelley of Manchester; her children, Christine M. Timson and husband Gregory of Derry, Richard J. Kelley and wife Deborah Regan of Manchester; her grandson who completed her life, Jack F. Timson of Derry; three sisters, Diane MacDougall and husband Bill of Loudon, Mary Murch and husband Bob of FL, Carolyn Cartier and husband Larry of MA; one brother, Robert McSherry and wife Mei of NV; several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St, Manchester. Burial in the NH Veterans Cemetery will be at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Amedisys Hospice Program, 8 Commerce Drive, Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
