Beatrice Jeannette Proulx, 91, of Laconia, formerly of Manchester, died June 10, 2025 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on September 1, 1933, she was the daughter of John I. and Marie A. (Blanchette) Proulx. She attended Bakersville Grammar School and graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1952.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as an office manager for State Dye Company from 1995 until 2002.
Deeply devoted to her Catholic Faith, Beatrice was a longtime active parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. She and her sister Aurora enjoyed donating their sewing and cooking talents to support the church community and its members. Later in life, after moving residence to their home in Belmont, she enjoyed being active members of St. Joseph Parish.
She was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Robert and Leonne Proulx, Joseph and Della Proulx, Leo and Rheta Proulx as well as Leo’s first wife Alice, Ernest and Cecile Proulx, Richard and Irene Proulx, George Proulx, Aurore Proulx, and infant brothers Roland and Alfred Proulx.
Family members include her brother, John F. Proulx of Manchester; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, cousins.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, will be Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
