She was born in Manchester on February 11, 1924 to John and Ellen (McSweeney) McGarrigle. She graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Bimbris worked at American Velcro in Manchester for 20 years and also at Pandora Mills and H.P. Hood.
She enjoyed bowling and had worshiped at the Precious Blood Monastery.
Her husband of 66 years, John E. Bimbris Sr., died in March of this year.
The family includes three children, John E. Bimbris Jr. of Manchester, Ellen Messerschmidt of Hooksett and Stephen Bimbris of Manchester; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Pinard of Manchester; a brother, Phil McGarrigle of Manchester; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
