Bernadette M. "Bunny" (LeBlanc) Crowley, 85, of Amherst, NH died February 17, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH after a brief illness.

Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on October 8, 1922, she was the daughter of Angus and Bella (Sonier) LeBlanc. She lived in Sanford, ME most of her life before moving to Amherst to live with her daughter in 1996.

Mrs. Crowley was a former member and president of the Sanford-Springvale Memorial Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and a member of the Granite Grange #7 in Milford, NH where she had served as its chaplain.

She was married to William T. Crowley Sr. who died in 1985.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes three children, John A. Crowley and his wife, Jeannie of Stafford Springs, CT, Kathleen B. Lombardi and her husband, Dick of Amherst, NH and William T. Crowley Jr. of Waldeboro, ME; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Marissa, Matthew and Sarah Lombardi; Katie and Michael Crowley and Joy Marie Crowley; nieces and nephews and a wonderful friend, Marilyn Landers.

Bunny always loved life and enjoyed being with friends and relatives. She will be remembered for her warm heart and contagious sense of humor that touched everyone she came in contact with throughout her life.

SERVICES: A memorial reception was held Saturday February 23, 2008 at the Manchester (NH) Country Club, 180 South River Rd., Bedford, NH. Private burial was at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, ME.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, NH assisted the family with arrangements.
