Bernadette L. Thomas

Bernadette L. (Labrecque) Thomas, 93, of Bedford died June 5, 2004 at Ridgewood Center-Genesis Eldercare in Bedford after a long illness.

Born in Laconia on May 15, 1911, she was the daughter of Ludger and Alma (Lemay) Labrecque. She lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Bedford several years ago.

Mrs. Thomas worked at Arms Textile and Waumbec Mills both in Manchester for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, George A. Thomas and by a granddaughter, Kristen Smith.

The family includes two sons, Robert Roby of Manchester and Richard Roby of Arroyo Grande, CA; grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday June 8, 2004 in Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Manchester. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that masses be said in memory of Mrs. Thomas.
