It is with sadness we announce that Bernard "Bernie" Biron was called home to the Lord on January 31, 2026 after years of declining health. He was born on September 8, 1947 in Manchester to the late Germain and Marie-Ange (Gelinas) Biron, and graduated from Ste. Marie High School in 1965.
He honorably served in the United States Navy from 1966 - 1970 aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard in Vietnam. He was a police officer in Manchester and worked for the B&M Railroad in MA before becoming a longtime employee of the USPS, first as a rural carrier in Londonderry, and then retiring as a supervisor in Manchester. Bernie was also an avid HAM radio operator.
Bernie is survived by his cherished wife: Linda (Morin) Biron; his four children: Eric Biron, Elizabeth Biron, Alexis (Jacob) Heaphy, Kevin (Denise) Fosher; his two step-sons: Joshua Dube and Stephanie Morneau, Daniel (Jennifer) Dube; fourteen! grandchildren; two sisters: Claudette (Denis) Odesse, Therese Finn; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester from 10:30am - 11:45am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 207 Hemlock St., Manchester at 12pm. Committal prayers will follow in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Pennacook Pregnancy Center, 657B Chestnut St., Manchester, NH 03104.
