Sister Jeanne-Lucille, p.m., (Sister Bibiane Dion), 86, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester, NH died March 1, 2005 at St. Joseph Residence, Manchester, NH after 63 years of religious life.

Born September 21, 1918, in St. Sylvestre, PQ, Canada, the daughter of Alfred and Amanda (Lefebvre) Dion. She was baptized in St. Sylvestre, Canada, but the family soon moved to Berlin, NH, where Sister Jeanne-Lucille went to school. She entered the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in 1936, in St. Hyacinth, PQ, Canada, made her first Profession in 1941, and her final Profession in 1946, in Hudson, NH. She received a B.A. in Education from Rivier College, Nashua, NH.

Sister Jeanne-Lucille taught on the elementary and junior high levels at Stella Maris, Biddeford, ME, for 2 years, and subsequently in Manchester, Berlin, Cascade, and Hudson, NH for 19 years; in Marieville, Albion, West Warwick, and Woonsocket, RI for 13 years. She retired in West Warwick, RI in 1975, living there for 18 years. During those years, she worked for St. John the Baptist Parish in West Warwick, and ministered to shut-ins in the area. She was transferred to Presentation of Mary Community in Hudson, NH in 1993, and then to St. Joseph Residence, Manchester, in 1995.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Fernande "Bea" Vaillancourt of Berlin, NH, Mrs. Jeannette Demers of Lebanon, NH, and Mrs. Irene Beasley of Coventry, RI; several nephews and nieces.

The funeral mass was celebrated in Resurrection Chapel, St. Marie Residence, on Thursday March 3, 2005. Burial was in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
