Blanche L. Simard

For many years Blanche worked at the former JF McElwain. Blanche enjoyed her day lilies and rock garden in the summer, as well as crocheting and crafting. She loved to walk, and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her strong faith, and her devotion to St. Theresa, and the Blessed Mother.

In HER LIFE:Family members include; a son, George E. and his wife Doris A. Simard, of Litchfield; 4 grandchildren, William, Melissa, David, Thomas; 4 great grandchildren, Arianna, Jared, Kayla, Madalynn; a sister, Jeanne Lussier,of CT; a sister in-law, Yvonne Mercier, of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Simard, in 1971.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Anthony Church 195 Belmont St. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009.

Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd.

Memorial donations can be made to the Monastery of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge St. Manchester.
