Bob Bergeron, 70, of Hooksett, NH and Clearwater, FL, formerly of Rochester, NH died peacefully at his residence on June 30, 2004 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Berlin, NH in 1933, the son of Sylva and Maria (Fisette) Bergeron. He graduated from Berlin High School and worked for General Electric in Somersworth for more than 30 years before retiring.
During the mid-1970's, he and his wife, Jacqueline, owned and operated the Northwood Motel in Northwood, NH.
He was an avid woodworker and was a very early computer specialist. He loved to teach people how to use computers and had studied computer programming extensively. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Members of his family include his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline (Berube) Bergeron; two sons, Dale A. Bergeron of Manchester and Alan J. Bergeron of Sunapee; Four grandchildren; One sister, Claire McKay of Saco, ME; One brother Norman Bergeron of Berlin, NH.
A memorial service took place Saturday August 21, 2004 in the funeral home chapel. Urn burial was in Berlin, NH.
