Bradbury D. “Brad” Cliff, 84, of Bedford, died November 8, 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Boston, MA on February 25, 1941, he was the son of the late Frederick and Ann (Durgin) Cliff. He was a graduate of Wellesley High School in 1959 and worked as an Insurance Agent during his career before retiring from National Life of Vermont in 2018. Also, In the 80’s he owned two bookstores along with his wife.

Brad was a true all-star athlete. Baseball was his passion playing for Wellesley High School and in the summer with Sagamore Cape Cod League then signed with the Red Sox in January 1960. He was an avid golfer and pool player. He also enjoyed playing tennis and was the Men’s Doubles Champion for several years in the 70’ s.

Brad continued his love for sports in the Hooksett Youth Athletic Association. Couching his daughters in many sports as well as coaching in the Little League Program.

Brad love to travel and went to many places including place he was recognized as being a top agent. He especially enjoyed family vacations. He never missed a family event or celebration.

Brad had an incredible sense of humor. He was the most kind, loyal and friendly people you could have ever met. He was a true gentlemen and his family was the most important part of his life. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, father-in-law, partner, brother, uncle and friend.

Brad was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Barbara (Stewart) Cliff, in 2017. Both were involved in the Brookside Congregational Church. Brad being a Deacon and Barbara being a Sunday School Teacher.

Surviving family includes two daughters, Deborah L. Confalone and husband Gary of Boxford, MA and Cynthia J. Murray and husband Richard of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Riley Cote, Cameron Higham, Abigail Confalone and Luke Confalone; two step grandsons, Christian Murray (Hailey) and Sebastian Murray (Margaret); one great grandson, Zander; three step great grandchildren, Walker, Paisley and Emerysn Murray; his significant other, Kathy Pynn; brothers, Frederick Cliff of Lynchburg, VA and Dana Cliff of Wellesley, MA, one sister, Nina Cliff and husband Jim of Jacksonville, FL; one niece and five nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Dudley Cliff in 2021.

SERVICES: Calling hours are from 11am to 1pm, with a funeral service beginning promptly at 1pm, on Thursday, November 13th, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. Brad will be laid to rest with his wife Barbara in Martins Ferry Cemetery at a later date.
