Brenda M. Talbot passed away unepectedlly on June 13, 2018 from a ruptured brain aneurysm. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Born in Boston, MA, she is the daughter of the late Paul Talbot and Christine Marra of Hooksett, NH. She was also pre-deceased by her stepfathers, Willis Cushing and Michael Marra and her sister, Regina Talbot. Brenda grew up in the Londonderry area and moved to Candia in 2004.
Brenda was very independent. After graduating from Londonderry High School she moved into her first apartment at the age of 18 and began her adult life. At the age of 24 she determined that a college education was what she needed and began taking night classes at New Hampshire College, now Southern New Hampshire University and earned her Bachelor's degree. She continued her education and at the age of 30 and earned her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She eventually worked for John Hancock in Boston then began a 15 year career at Fidelity Investments where, through an incredible work ethic, she rose through the company organization to become a vice president in their Compliance Department.
She had a gift and passion for photography. Her plan was to retire from Fidelity in a few years and begin a business specializing in dog and outdoor photography.
Brenda leaves behind Molly, her beloved german short hair pointer; her husband, Kevin Whitmore; her son, Trevor Bergeron and girlfriend, Chelsey Parks, of Raleigh, NC; her stepson, Greg Whitmore and his wife, Marge. and their wonderful daughter, Matilda of Deerfield; her mother, Christine Marra of Hooksett; her sister, Karen Gingrich and her husband, David, and their children, Katie and Laurel of Gilford; her sister, Vicky Dotson and her husband, Steve, and their children, Emmalee and Porter of Tucson, AZ; her mother-in-law, Terry Whitmore, who loved her like a daughter, of Bedford; her brothers-in-law, John Whitmore, his wife, Jane, and their two children, Jessie and Emily of Weare and James Whitmore and his wife, Linda, and their two children, Jacob and Sam. Her extended family also includes many aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews.
Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity were exceptional, and she was quite humble. There were no airs about her considering her success.
She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. I am so proud of you and miss you so much already. Honey, love you, have a nice day, and drive careful!
PS. Have an iced grande one pump vanilla non-fat latte for me!
If you would like to leave a family picture, or any other picture, with Brenda in her casket, the family would strongly encourage it. Thank you.
