Brendan "Buddy" Hugh Gorman, 69, of Boston, MA passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on April 26, 2020.
Buddy was born in Lowell, MA on July 10, 1950, the son of Hugh Gorman and Dorothy M. (Costello) Humphries. He graduated from Emerson College in 1974 with a degree in Performing Arts and danced professionally. He entered the travel industry in 1983, specializing in corporate travel, eventually joining The Travel Collaborative in 2003. Buddy was a champion roller skater and ice skater. He loved travel, gardening, bingo, the BBN circus, sour cream, and HGTV. What made him the happiest was being Papa to his daughters Anna (8) and Cameron (3). He was a devoted brother to his sister Kathy.
He leaves his partner of thirty years, Paul Huang of Boston; their daughters, Anna and Cameron; his sister, Kathy Manty of Dracut, MA; close friends, Janice Morin of Manchester, NH and Judy Paladino of Hudson, NH; and his aunt and cousins.
Buddy will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Manchester, NH. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
