Brent A. Homoleski

Brent A. Homoleski MD, 35, of New Boston, NH died of natural causes May 14, 2010 at his residence after a sudden illness.

He was born in Leominster, MA on April 11, 1975, the son of Bruce A. and Dianna J. (Martin) Homoleski. He attended Applewild Grammar School in Fitchburg, MA and graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT. He earned his bachelor's degree from Tufts University and received his Doctor of Medicine from the Chicago Medical School.

After serving a four-year residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, (where Brent served as Chief resident in Psychiatry), Brent held the position of Assistant Chief of Psychiatry at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Most recently, he was employed by Dartmouth College as a Psychiatrist at the NH Hospital in Concord, where he chaired the Pharmacology and Teaching Committee. He also loved his work as an associate professor at Dartmouth Medical School.

He was an audio-visual equipment enthusiast and enjoyed listening to jazz, classic rock, classical music, and watching movies. Brent earned his varsity letter in archery, at Choate, and continued his interest in this sport throughout his life. His passion for studying led him to investigate any periodical which would enhance his knowledge of pharmacology, which became his specialty. He was also passionate about keeping current on world events.

Family members include his wife of 7 years, Karolina (Radziszewska) Homoleski of New Boston; his parents, Bruce and Dianna Homoleski of Pepperell, MA; one sister, Beth Ann Homoleski of Boston; his maternal grandmother, Irene Martin of Winchendon, MA; his aunt and uncle, Dawn and Ed Turski and his aunt Susan Scott all of Winchendon; an uncle Bill Homoleski of Pepperell; an uncle Brian Homoleski of Dallas; many other loving family members locally and in Chicago and Poland; and his beloved pets, Sunshine, Alvin, and Casper.

Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
