Brian S. Cullen

He was born in Melrose, MA on May 14, 1958, the son of William and Muriel (Funk) Cullen. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1976 and attended Southern New Hampshire University thereafter.

Brian was a devoted employee of Catholic Medical Center for more than 35 years before retiring as the Director of Security in November, 2013. He was a sports enthusiast of all New England teams and would even skip vacations if a favorite team was playing in a major event. Brian loved to play baseball/softball in his younger days. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, family & friends.

His family includes his loving wife of 30 years, Rita (Laliberte) Cullen, of Manchester; three brothers, Robert Cullen of Temple, Mark Cullen, and wife Casee, of Londonderry, and Christopher Cullen of Londonderry; two sisters, Donna Wood, and husband Bill, of Londonderry, and Karen Cawley, and husband Patrick, of Londonderry; two nieces, Shauna Wood of CA, and Kelsey Wood of Londonderry; and two nephews, Ethan and Jacob Cullen of Londonderry. He is predeceased by both parents; and a brother, William Cullen.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2014 at St. Marie Church, followed by committal prayers in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New England Heart Institute at Catholic Medical Center, 100 McGregor St., Manchester, NH 03102.
