Bruce W. Zimont

He was born in Portland, ME on January 8, 1955 to Robert and Charlotte (Overlocke) Zimont. He lived in Allenstown for many years.

In the mid-1970's, he served in the U.S. Army.

Bruce worked as a jeweler for 35 years. Many of those years were with Naser Jewelers. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar and will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.

The family includes his wife of 35 years, Mertice "Cookie" (Sheppard) Zimont of Allenstown; three sons, Christopher Zimont and his fiance, Jessica Gammon and James Zimont all of Allenstown, and Michael Zimont and his wife, Heather, of Loudon; three grandchildren, Adriana, Alyssa and Braden; his mother of Hooksett; three brothers, Donald Soule and his wife, Hazel, and Michael Zimont and his wife, Billie, all of Maine and Anthony Zimont of Hooksett; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Steve Soule and John Zimont.

A funeral ceremony was held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Pastor Richard Babcock officiated. A committal service followed at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
