Carl Brooks, 58, lifelong resident of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester, NH, on September 24, 1964, he was the son to the late Ralph and Emily (Silva) Brooks. He was educated locally and later became a certified HVAC technician. He was most recently employed for the Nashua School District.
Carl was known to those close to him as “fingers” a playful name that paid homage to his many musical talents. He was an incredible guitarist and bass player who loved his rock n’ roll, jamming with his wife, family and friends in multiple bands throughout the years. Carl was also mechanically inclined and was a “jack-of-all-trades”, having been able to fix just about anything throughout the years.
Carl will be remembered most for his kind, compassionate and gentle nature, and his larger than life heart. Always wanting to help anyone he could along the way.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Tammy (Blue) Brooks; his two children, Jessica and Ryan; two grandchildren, Deacon and Raelynn; his sister, Sheila Tsoumbanos and her husband, John; brother, Thomas Brooks and his wife, Linda, all of Manchester and close nephew, Shawn Gosselin of Pelham, NH.
