Carl A. Lundgren

Carl A. Lundgren, 68, of Merrimack, NH passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, with his loving family by his side. This came after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Born April 15, 1955, in Pasadena, CA, he was the son of Alan Lundgren and Louise Singleton. Carl was raised in Pasadena and spent his youth surrounded by a loving family and countless friends. In 1980 he met his future wife Deborah Peace while performing as a DJ at the nightclub Doohinkeys Disco. They went on to enjoy 41 years of marriage together. In 1992, Carl and Deborah moved to Seattle, WA where they raised their family for 23 years until relocating to Merrimack, NH in 2015.

In 2018, Carl retired after a long and diverse career, with roles that highlighted his strong work ethic and dedication to helping others. Notably, before his position in customer service, Carl drove big rigs for day-long hauls in California. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, tinkering with his worship website, and enjoying a cup of coffee while playing the latest version of Madden.  

Carl will be remembered for his fervent belief in Jesus Christ, his warm and amiable demeanor, his legendary appetite, and his passion for music, most notably smooth jazz. 

Carl is survived by his wife Deborah Lundgren of Merrimack, NH; his sons Matthew Lundgren & partner Jessica Buzzell of Manchester, Jeremy Lundgren, and Stephen Lundgren both of Merrimack; his grandsons Paul & Parker; his brothers Vern Higgins & Daniel Wright of California; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alan & Louise.

SERVICES: A funeral service for Carl will be held Sunday, October 22nd, 2023 at 10 am at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH.  The service will also be live-streamed at the link below for those family and friends unable to travel.
