Carlos C. Demelo

He was born in the Azores region of Portugal on April 12, 1925 to Manuel and Evangelina (Silva) Demelo.

Carlos worked for the US Air Force as a civilian in the Azores for 26 years. He also worked at Nashua Brass Company.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Manuella Silva.

The family includes his wife of 28 years, Elizabeth (Miller) Demelo of Bedford; a son, Roger Demelo and his wife, Linda, of Pepperell, MA; a granddaughter, Christina; and two nieces, Adelia Oliveira of Providence, RI and Aniala Wilkerson of Taunton, MA.

A funeral ceremony was held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Private burial will be in Pillsbury Cemetery in Londonderry.
