Carmen L. Bennett

Carmen L. (Martel) Bennett, 46, of Manchester died August 8, 2004 at the Elliot Hospital following a sudden illness.

She was born in Manchester, NH on June 13, 1958, the daughter of Rolland N. and Alice (Sansoucy) Martel. She was educated in the local school system and was a 1976 graduate of Memorial High School.

She had been employed for 24 years in administration at the V.A. Medical Center.

Members of her family include her husband, Robert Bennett of Manchester; One son Daniel Frank; One daughter Renee Frank; Her mother of Manchester; Three brothers, the Rev. Marcel Martel of Plaistow, Paul and Wendy Martel of West Sayville, NY, Bernard and Louise Martel of Berlin, NH; Three sisters, Annette and Wayne Thurston of Manchester, Colette Martel Joslyn of Seattle, WA and Terry and Roland Cere of Manchester; Nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services were held Thursday August 12, 2004. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
