Carmen (St. Pierre) Kearney, 79, of Manchester died peacefully October 13, 2021 at the Concord Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Born in Manchester on December 17, 1941, she was the daughter of Aurelien and Elizabeth (Marchand) St. Pierre. She graduated St. Marie High School and later in life earned her bachelor's degree with honors in business from Daniel Webster College.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed in the customer service department at PSNH. Previously, she had worked locally in the real estate and mortgage fields.
Carmen enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and staying connected to her numerous friends through social media. She loved entertaining and will be remembered for her ability to entertain others by throwing wonderful parties.
Carmen will best be remembered for her love of laughter and often unexpected wit, her generous nature, her love for both family and the stranger, and for her humility of spirit and devotion to Christ.
Family members include her daughter, Christine (Kearney) Roy and her partner Gene Mezereny of Manchester; her son, David Kearney and his wife Peg of Arizona; her grandchildren, Maxwell and Quincy Roy; a sister, Priscilla Tanguay and her husband Gerry of Manchester; nephews & nieces; her sister-in-law, Judy St. Pierre of Virginia.
She was predeceased by her brother Paul St. Pierre.
Visiting hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Wednesday morning from 11 am to noon, followed by a celebration of life service in the funeral home chapel at noon.
