Carmen M. Mistretta

Carmen M. Mistretta Sr., 75, of Bedford, died January 26, 2005, at Catholic Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Passaic, NJ, August 13, 1929, he was a son of Carmello and Grace (Territo) Mistretta. He had been a resident of Bedford for many years.

He served in the US Air Force.

Mr. Mistretta attended John's Hopkins University. He was an engineer and had worked many years for Sanders Assocaites.

He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford.

He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, and archery.

He was married to Viola C. (Lattig) Mistretta, who died in 1996.

Family members include two daughters, Paula Richards of Windham, NH, and Roberta Marcoux of Bedford; four sons, Carmen M. Mistretta Jr. of Rye, Keith Mistretta of Durham, Brian Mistretta of Manchester, and Martin Mistretta of Center Strafford, NH; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Jeannette Scrittorale, and Gloria Andreotta, both of New Jersey; a brother, Samuel Mistrette of New Jersey; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday January 29, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford.

Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
