Carol A. (Bernard) Maynard, 70, of Manchester, died December 22, 2017 at her home after a sudden illness.

She was born in Manchester on March 7, 1947 to Emile R. and Ethel A. (Kies) Bernard. She lived in New Boston for most of her life.

Carol worked for many years as a nuclear medical technician at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua and at Monadnock Regional Medical Center in Peterborough. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford and enjoyed time spent with her family.

The family includes her husband of 30 years, Louis A. Maynard of Manchester; a son, Tim Stanley and his wife, Jeannette, of New Boston; two grandchildren, Mirah and Jacob Stanley; two sisters, Janice Brinn of Goffstown and Marlene Torrey and her husband, James, of Suffolk, VA; one aunt and uncle and cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford
