Carol A. (O'Neil) McMillan, 69, of Manchester, died July 23, 2017 at Elliot Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Windsor, VT on September 3, 1947 to Gerald and Frances (Story) O'Neil. She grew up in Gorham, NH and graduated from Gorham High School in 1965, then served in the U.S. Army.
Carol was a master barber and spent her career in Manchester, NH. She was also a licensed real estate agent. She enjoyed traveling and camping and had a love of music, including playing the harmonica. She was a member of the American Legion Post 79 in Manchester.
She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Labrecque and a stepdaughter, Kimberly McMillan.
The family includes her husband of 19 years, Daniel W. McMillan Sr. of Manchester; three daughters, Kerry Auger of Epsom, Darcy DiBenedetto of Manchester and Stacy L. Reynolds and her husband, Jamie, of Londonderry; two stepchildren, Daniel W. McMillan Jr. and his wife, Jodi, and Jennifer McMillan all of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Kevin, Danny, Ashley, Cody, Tyler, Madison and Justin; two great grandchildren, Anthony and Charlotte; four siblings, Peggy Blais and her husband, Raymond, of Berlin, Gerald O'Neil and Greg O'Neil and his wife, Kelly, all of Gorham and Jamie O'Neil and his wife, Candy, of Milan; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony was held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Committal prayers took place on Monday, July 31, 2017 the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
