Carol D. Oliver, 68, of Manchester, NH died March 7, 2007 at the Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Hospice House after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 2, 1938, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Sember) Dechamps. She was educated in the Connecticut school system and was a graduate of Bassick High School class of 1956, in Bridgeport.

She was a loving mother and wife who had been employed by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.

While residing in New Hampshire, Carol was a strong volunteer for various Hooksett local groups including the HYAA (Hooksett Youth Athletic Association).

She enjoyed art, poetry, music, and public radio.

Members of her family include two sons, Brian Oliver of Plymouth, NH, and Jim Oliver, his wife Jeanne-Marie Oliver and her two daughters, Timony and Avalon; grandchildren, Colleen Oliver of Colorado and Greg Oliver of Canastota, NY, who is currently in Air Force basic training in Lackland, Texas; one sister, Doris Wilkinson and her husband Chuck of Quaker Hill, CT; four nephews.

A celebration of her life was held on Sunday March 11, 2007 at the Puritan Restaurant Conference Center, Hooksett Rd, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the VNA Hospice Program, 33 S. Commercial St., Suite 401, Manchester, NH 03101.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, assisted with the arrangements.
