Carole S. LaPorte

Born in Welch, West Virginia on October 14, 1953, she was the daughter of Edgar and Virginia (McKenzie) Johnson. She lived most of her life in the Chicago, IL area.

She had worked at Abbott Labs in Illinois and at Amgen Pharmaceutical Company in Cambridge, MA.

IN HER LIFE: She had a strong walk with God.

The family includes two daughters, Sarah LaPorte Ostrander and her husband, Thomas, and Emily LaPorte all of Manchester; two sisters, Brenda Francis of Round Lake, IL and Cheryl Edwards of Kenosha, WI; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A committal service was held Friday, December 5, 2008 at North Shore Garden of Memories, 1801 Green Bay Rd., North Chicago, IL.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
