Carroll D. Page, 79, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Candia and Tilton, NH, died on March 24, 2024, at Lakeland Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Montpelier, VT on October 27, 1944, he was the son of the late Carl W. and Grace A. (Covey) Page. Carroll was educated in Manchester, NH, attended Central High School and served in the US Army and Air National Guard for 35 years before retiring with an honorable discharge in 2002. He was a member of the Candia Volunteer EMT & Fire Department, part time police officer of the Candia Police Department and part time Deputy Sheriff for Hillsborough County. He also served as Master of the Masons of Rockingham Lodge #76, and Treasurer of Cypress Lakes Veterans Association.
Carroll was an exceptional man who loved his family beyond words. He was kind, humble, understanding and caring. Carroll enjoyed golfing, vacationing and cruises with his beloved wife Diane, and their close friends, and was an avid New England sports and NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed boating and summers on Lake Winnisquam with his Lake Family. There was nothing that Carroll could not build, fix or figure out. He was always ready and willing to help any and everyone and would never ask for or expect anything in return, except for perhaps a Lord Calvert (3 finger pour) over ice with a splash of water. He was the most devoted husband and exceptional father that anyone could ever ask for. He wore the name "Papa" with such pride and had an entirely different level of love for his grandchildren. Family always came first and beyond all else, he will be remembered as a devoted, loving and amazing husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, and friend.
Family includes his wife of 57 years, Diane J. (Cosma) Page of Lakeland, FL; two sons, Dwayne A. Page and wife Sarah of Manchester, NH and Scott A. Page and wife Gina of Punta Gorda FL; three grandchildren, Madison A. Page of Manchester, NH, Connor J. Page of Manchester, NH, and John C. Miller III of Merrimack, NH; and one brother, Dean Page of Manchester, NH. He was predeceased by one sister, Linda Sargent; one brother, Terry Page; and daughter-in-law, Heidi Page.
