Catherine Goulet Manthey, 75, of Manchester, NH died November 24th, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Fall River, MA on January 23, 1940, she was the daughter of Julien and Annette (Paquette) Goulet. She was educated in Fall River and earned her bachelor's degree from Bradford Durfee College of Technology. She then went on to earn a master's degree from Fordham University.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a mathematics professor at the NH Technical Institute in Concord, NH.

Katie was an active member of Schuyler's/Second Albany group, which participates in Eighteenth-Century historical re-enactments. She was also a member of the Heritage Quilters Guild and enjoyed baking bread, knitting and sewing. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who cherished time spent with family.

Family members include her husband William J. Manthey of Manchester; her children, Benjamin J. Manthey and wife Michelle of Lafayette, CO, Rebecca Manthey of Maine, David W. Manthey and wife Heather of Burnt Hills, NY, and Daniel Manthey of Brooklyn, NY; one granddaughter, Marie Manthey of CO; three siblings, Julien Goulet and wife Ana of North Kingstown, RI, Paul Goulet and wife Mary of Lake City, FL, Susan Harris and husband Alan of Stuart, FL; two nieces and two nephews.

A High Requiem Mass was sung for her on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Sacred Heart Church, Lawrence, MA. Committal prayers and burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart Church, 321 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA 01843.
