Cecile T. (DesRuisseaux) Dupuis, 92, of Manchester died November 5, 2022 with her family by her side.

Born in Manchester on August 1, 1930, she was the daughter of Dollard and Bertha (Hebert) DesRuisseaux.  She attended St. Marie Grammar School and graduated from St. Marie High School in Manchester.

Cecile enjoyed all types of arts and crafts and volunteering.  She was a member of the CMC Board of Incorporators and president of the CMC Associates.  She was also a member of Les Dames de St. Anne and Catholic War Veterans. She loved spending time teaching CCD at St Jean the Baptist and volunteering with the Caregivers.  Her greatest joy was being with her family.  She was the life of the party at every family event; from the summer camp, to the pool and the holidays.  

She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Marcel R. Dupuis and son, Paul Dupuis. Her 4 brothers, Gerard, Roger, Robert, Maurice, sister-in-law Rita, and brother-in-law Rev Gerald Dupuis. 

Family members include her children, Daniel M. Dupuis and husband Paul Cotter of Pascoag, RI, Dr. Denis P. Dupuis and wife Kathryn of Bedford, Philippe S. Dupuis and wife Barabara of Varna, Illinois, Michael R. Dupuis and wife Therese of Merrimack, Ann-Marie Burek and husband Michael of Hillsborough; 11 grandchildren, Hilary Mitchell, Matthew Dupuis, Audrey Patin, Deanna Hammersten, Dr. Nicholas Dupuis, Jennifer Lesieur, Christopher Dupuis, Ashleigh O’Neil, Brendan O’Neil, Taryn O’Neil and Connor O’Neil; 16 great-grandchildren, Carter, Emerson and Barrett Mitchell, Camden, Alden and Adalynn Patin, Anders, Lucas, Clara and Ada Hammersten, Madeleine, Miles and Magnolia Dupuis, Ella Mullen and Beau and Everlee Lesieur. Sisters-in-law Irene, Francoise and Claire. Brother and sister-in-law Dr Sylvio and Cecile M Dupuis.

Her family would like to thank the staff at The Lodge at Riverwoods Manchester for the tremendous care and compassion they showed Cecile during the last 5 years. They truly were her second family.

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Wednesday from 3 to 6 pm.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am in St. Marie Church, Manchester.  Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery will be at a later date.
