Cecile M. Farland, 100, of Manchester, died May 27, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.

A lifelong resident of Manchester, she was born May 11, 1910 to Thomas and Marie (Thibeault) Hebert.

Mrs. Farland worked for Johnson Shoe Co. for many years.

She was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony Church.

She was married to Alphee D. Farland who died in 1986.

Family members include nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at St. Anthony Church.

Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
