            Cecile Mailhot, 101, of Manchester, died October 17, 2022 after a period of declining health.

            Born in Saint-Hermenegilde, Quebec, Canada on November 8, 1920, she was the daughter of Raphael and Exelia (Boucher) Godbout. 

            After raising her family, she had worked several years for both the Myrtle Street and Villacrest Nursing Homes.

            She loved knitting, sewing, baking and playing bingo.  She also enjoyed solving Wonder Word.  She was a longtime communicant of St. Pius X Church in Manchester.

            She was predeceased by her husband, Anatole Mailhot in 2007 as well as her children, Lucie Mailhot and Michael Mailhot.

            Family members include her children, Yolande Ganley, Diane Gendron, Claire Gelinas and husband Robert, Micheline Doring, Gaetane LeClerc and husband Robert, Daniel Mailhot, Louise Gaudreau and husband Vic, Carole Koerner and husband Stephen, France Dolbec and husband Marc, Bruno Mailhot and fiancée Lorrie Deyelle, Real Mailhot and wife Donna, Helen Daigle and husband Doug; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins.

            Calling hours will be Thursday, October 27th from 4 to 7 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester.  A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 28th at 10 am in St. Pius X Church.  Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.

            In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to NH Catholic Charities, 100 William Loeb Drive, Manchester, NH 03109.
