Celeste J. Mathieu-Lamb

She was born in Manchester on November 21, 1946 and was the daughter of Treffle and Jeannette (Boilard) Mathieu. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School in 1964. She spent most of her life in Manchester and also lived in Derry and Spring Hill, FL.

She worked many years in administration at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester. She enjoyed crafting, collectibles, traveling with her husband and playing cards with her friends. She had a lifelong love of dogs, cats and birds.

She was a very strong and resilient woman who survived four battles with cancer.

Family members include three children, Denise Chagnon Lynch of Hudson, Lisa Chagnon of Rollingsford and Steven Chagnon of Lexington, MA; five grandchildren; Shaun and Caitlin Lynch, Johnathan-Paul N. Giroux, Lucine and Carina Chagnon, a sister, Sandra Thompson of Spring Hill, FL and a brother, Arthur Mathieu of Manchester. She was predeceased by her husband of 15 years, Irving Lamb in 2010.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Disabled American Veterans, 275 Chestnut St., Manchester, NH 03101-2511, or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, P.O. Box 758532, Topeka, KS 66675-8532.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
