Celina Marie (Gabert) Paquette, 97, of Manchester, formerly of Auburn, died August 27, 2011 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on July 1, 1914, the daughter of Jean and Anna (Cote) Gabert. She was educated in the Auburn school system.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a stitcher in the local mills and also worked hand stitching dolls.

She was one of the original members and a longtime communicant of St. Peter Church, and was also a member of the Ladies Guild at that parish.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Paquette in 1990.

Family members include three children, Ronald Paquette and his wife, Sarah, of Manchester, Maureen Benware and her husband, Peter, of Hooksett and Gloria Lariviere and her husband, David, of Auburn; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, September 2, 2011 at St. Peter Church, Manchester Rd., Auburn. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
